By the time Joe finished college, Hofferts Nursery was well established in the Boring area, and Joe delivered his nursery stock plants to a broad garden center customer base in the Seattle area.
Today, the main farm has moved to Dayton, Oregon, and Joe still delivers plants every week up to Seattle and the surrounding communities. The farm has grown to 70 acres.
Tami is the computer geek who sells plants online. She sells plants via ebay and this website, and has a vision for a larger volume of internet-based sales in the future. Occasionally, she and the kids operate the potting machine and propagate a few plants, all under the watchful eye and supervision of Joe and his green thumb.
Tami has also been playing around with a
nursery blog online as a way to communicate with our wholesale customers and for them to see what certain obscure plants look like for ordering purposes.
The Hofferts Nursery family is made up of two big people...

and two little people.
